IGGL has signed three Hook Up Agreements with ONGC on 11th July 2023 to connect ONGC gas fields with North East Gas Grid for transportation of natural gas from three Assets of ONGC viz. Jorhat, Silchar, and Tripura to the consumers.
The signing ceremony was held in IGGL’s Corporate Office located at NRL Centre Guwahati in presence of IGGL’s Director Shri Sanjay Kumar, Dr. Ajit Kumar Thakur, CEO; Shri Rajib Kumar Bhattacharyya, CHRCM; Shri Pankaj Patowary, CPM; Shri Jayanta Narayan Das, GM (Mktg, RA and BE) along with ONGC officials viz. Asset Managers Shri Bipul Gohain, Shri Krishna Kumar, Shri SK Dwivedi and other senior officials from IGGL and ONGC.
Through this hook up ONGC will deliver 1.85 lakh SCMD from Jorhat Asset, 82500 SCMD from Silchar Asset and 7.00 lakh SCMD from Tripura asset to IGGL network.
